Dish Washer - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary:

A person in this position washes and properly stores all dishes, trays, utensils, pots and pans.  Maintains the cleanliness of the dish room area and kitchen and empties trash cans. Sets up and breaks down dish machine including: spray arms, screens and baskets. Cleans and polishes machine and hoses down inside. Checks machine to be sure it is operating properly and at the correct temperatures. Reports and operating defects immediately. Checks water temperature throughout shift and changes water at least every two hours. Keeps dish room and kitchen area clean and neat.

No experience required.

Qualifications:

Must be able to adjust to temperature extremes and loud noises. Must be able to work safely and efficiently in an environment that contains wet floors.

Education: 

Ability to communicate in English is desirable.

Physical:

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and carry dish racks and trash cans weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent and regular basis.  Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
