Line Cook Job Description:

The main duty of a line cook is that, they are responsible for the preparation of food before and after cooking with regards to the standards and recipes of the restaurants. And, making sure that everything is in order – from the prepping of food up to cleaning after cooking.

LC Duties:

• Responsible for compliance with industry food safety standards.

• Assists in all aspects of food preparation and presentation as needed.

• Assists in control of inventory and supplies.

• Responsible for safety in the kitchen environment.

• Keeps work areas and food storage areas clean and safe at all times.

• Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications Skills: Must be able to work weekends, Food Handler Permit, Positive, Verbal Communication, Customer Service, Teamwork, Persistence, Energy Level and Professionalism.
