@WORK has partnered with a growing wholesaler of restaurant equipment and supplies to your favorite restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Account Manager. This person is responsible for all aspects of the delivery sales function from opening new accounts to maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to ensure that all customer needs are completely met. This position is ideal for an individual interested in building a long-term career with a fast growing company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

:• Consistently meet sales quotas by establishing, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with assigned and prospective customers

• Actively call on all assigned accounts to fulfill customers' needs

• Provide great customer service according to company guidelines and standards

• Process customer orders accurately, in a courteous, efficient and timely manner

• Collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing

• Coordinate deliveries with warehouse and other internal teams

• Provide price quotations and samples to new and existing customers

• Answer customers' questions, address issues/complaints regarding delivery services, or obtain details of complaints

• Responsible for the promotion of company sponsored events, sales and promotions, membership program, etc.

• Regularly update knowledge and skills and overall professional growth and development

• Set and achieve individual sales goals by reporting and implementing daily/weekly/monthly sales activities and results

• Compile and maintain all customer paperwork, records, documents, etc.

• Attend and participate in all sales and division-related meetings

• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience required

• Minimum 3 years of over-the-phone sales experience required

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

• Excellent verbal, written and over-the-phone communication skills with positive upbeat attitude

• Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short-notice activity

• A proactive self-starter with excellent problem solving skills and able to follow directions without close supervision

• Be presentable and professional in appearance and demeanor

• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, web browser, email, etc.)

• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
