This position is responsible for the administration, documentation and material handling of parts being shipped or received into or out of the plant. Interact effectively with stores and assembly functions. Interact with various shipping vendors with a professional demeanor. Interact effectively with stores and assembly functions.
Industry: Warehouse/Distribution.
Duties: Complete shipping documents (e.g. BOL's, UPS, FED EX, and other carriers) as required. Download and maintain shipping systems as required (UPS systems). Drive lifts and operate necessary equipment to pack, wrap and load freight. Insure all order components are loaded on the trucks with correct documentation. Manage shipments. (Primetime, International, etc.) to insure proper carriers make pick up's. Manage MRO shipping supply inventory. Insure all paperwork is turned in so it can be keyed out. Ability to complete receiving of both direct and indirect (MRO, expense, etc.) purchase orders. Ensure all material received matches the packing documents supplied.
