Are you passionate about supporting multiple projects and being part of a dynamic team that supports store change overs, independent store ownership, new store openings, store remodels, and acquisitions? If this sounds like a team that you would like to be a part of, we are looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our Headquarters Changeover & Acquisition Management Program team, better known as CAMP! This integral role supports our NAPA store operations growth strategies by assisting cross-functional project teams with the successful implementation of our Distribution Centers (DC) and Store Level Projects. This person will coordinate multiple projects to ensure assigned tasks are completed including real estate, retail, CAMP departmental support, human resources, and computer systems.   • Have Expert level experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including: Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas), Word, Project, PowerPoint.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the activities of field and CAMP project managers assigned to store level projects including store change overs, independent owner sales, new store openings, store remodels, acquisitions, etc.
  • Coordinates multiple projects to ensure assigned tasks are completing including real estate, retail, CAMP departmental support, human resources, computer systems, etc.
  • Sets up projects in the project management tool at the discretion of headquarters and field management.
  • Tracks and completes project tasks, follows up on open items, and tracks issues.
  • Builds intradepartmental teams for project preparation and implementation and provides each member appropriate permissions to projects.
  • Coordinates communication of group for meetings, deadlines, and project updates. Coordinates follow-up and next steps for team related to the activities of the implementation phase.
  • Maintains project reference library to develop APGs for each type of project.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots user issues with the project management tools and follows up with user regarding solution.
  • Participates in project team meetings, recaps events, and updates schedules as directed.
  • Follows up to ensure project managers and team members have what is needed to complete their tasks and responds proactively to requests for information.
  • Creates job aids and schedules/conducts training sessions for project management tool.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-years project management experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Associates degree in business administration, engineering or a related business discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Expert level experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including: Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, and formulas), Word, Project, PowerPoint.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills (both presentation and written).
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to adapt and change priorities on the short term without sacrificing long term goals.
  • Well organized and capable of multi-tasking (will have projects in various states).
  • Ability to explain implementation plan with project teams and ability to solve problems reported by team.
