Job Description:
The CRM/Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for the CRM and Email Marketing Programs in their entirety. The ideal candidate is motivated by continuous opportunity to improve and expand the existing programs, has superior attention to detail with proven technical and analytical skills, and experience working in an ESP such as Oracle Responsys, Exact Target, or similar platforms. This role also includes the product development and marketing strategy of the rapidly growing Dave & Buster’s mobile app. This cross-functional member must be an accountable, self-starter with the desire to take the existing marketing technologies to the next level in order to support the initiatives of the Brand.

Responsibilities:
• Initiate the planning and execution of all promotional and automated email campaigns
• Manage all steps of the email creation process: create and maintain the deployment calendar, segmentation, content, analytics tagging, pre-deployment testing / quality control, html adjustments as needed, deployment through Oracle Responsys platform, and post-campaign reporting
• Review operating practices and procedures to determine where optimizations for improvement can be made and manage the implementation of these changes
• Coordinate with several other departments to develop email campaigns and other programs using expert knowledge of industry best practice, and emerging trends or tactics and a variety of internal data warehouses available
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to ensure project outcomes align with marketing priorities and messaging is consistent across all marketing platforms
• Develop, evolve and execute business processes across marketing channels to support business needs
• Explore industry insights and the competitive landscape to understand how to improve customer segmentation
• Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources
• Manage data warehouse, coupon engine, and resolve subscriber issues as needed
• Evaluate customer data and create campaign targeting, segmentation and testing by using past analysis and data mining techniques
• Ensure flawless execution through detailed documentation, proofing and deadline management
• Review, decipher and interpret all analytics
• Ensure all campaigns are on target for budget management

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree required
• Minimum 5-7 years marketing experience
• Proficiency in Oracle Responsys or similar ESP products
• Experience working for/with an outside agency and writing project briefs for agency partners
• Hands-on experience working with multiple business units and managing internal team needs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt and problem solve in a quick paced environment
• Strong organization, time management skills, and takes initiative with the sense of ownership
• Ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices in the evolving digital marketing space
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• General understanding of enterprise level reporting tools
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior
• Confident presenting to upper management
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
