Job Description:

3M is seeking a Converting Operator for the Consumer Business Group, Home Care Division, located in Tonawanda, New York. At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. Here, you go.

Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Converting Operator will be responsible for assembly and packaging of semi-finished and finished goods.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Manual packing of product into cases

* Manual placement of product on a moving conveyor

* Inspection of product while following quality standards in place

This position will require:

* Weekend work

* Working overtime

* Working on holidays as needed

* Short notice shift coverage

* Working 8 or 12 hour shifts including nights and weekends

* Frequent physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

* Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

* Current contract worker on site a plus

* Three (3) months of manufacturing experience

* Associates/Bachelor degree from an accredited University

* Basic computer skills

Location: Tonawanda, New York
