Job Title: Maintenance Helper
Job Summary: The maintenance helper will complete required preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the site manager/lead and/or designee. The maintenance helper may be assigned to and given direction by a more senior level technician as the helper.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment/building and grounds according to a set schedule with written instructions, includes documenting performance characteristics of facility buildings/systems and/or equipment.
- Replace HVAC filters
- Perform wall repairs and touch-up painting
- Perform plumbing repairs and replacements
- Replacement of bulbs in interior and exterior fixtures
- Complete any other tasks identified by Site Manager/Maintenance Supervisor.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent
- One to Three years of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
- Building inspections as well as minor facilities maintenance tasks will be required.
