Job Title: General Labor - Maintenance Helper

Job Summary: Repair and maintain all facility equipment as well as perform project work and assist in snow removal responsibilities. While demonstrating a high regard for safety at all times, you will be required to work the hours necessary to support the team which may include overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, hanging pictures, changing fixtures, setting up and assembling shelving, setting up conference rooms, delivering packages and assist Maintenance Mechanics as directed. Would perform minor building repairs such as changing ceiling tiles, patch drywall, paint, minor plumbing and electrical repairs as required. Could assist in all other disciplines such as grounds and snow removal as well as other similar/incidental tasks.
  • Would operate a tow motor and or aerial lift as required.
  • Performs all other tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain, organize, and control inventory supplies tools and equipment.
  • Clean and organize shop area. Maintain inventory of spare parts and material. Maintain tools and equipment for maintenance work.

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma
  • Two or more years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be trained and certified to operate a fork truck
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
