This position will train for a few weeks in Greendale and then move to an offsite location representing Goodwill Ecycle in Oak Creek, WI.*

Hours: 7:00AM- 3:30PM

Goodwill E-cycle builds upon our current practice of recycling electronics and other materials gained through our Retail operations. We will expand this to include commercial customers and government agencies. RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL: The Material Handler II primary responsibilities is to inspect, evaluate, disassembles and sort large and complex equipment and plastics according to established recycling guidelines.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Disassembles large and complex systems into components, subcomponents and commodities using various hand tools.

2. Retrieves raw materials from staging area to be processed appropriately.

3. Places salvage/recycle material in proper staging area and labels accordingly.

4. Ensures proper placement of inventory, and accuracy of inventory transactions and cycle counts.

5. Records productivity according to established procedure.

6. Follows established production standards and meets established production goals.

7. Communicate with supervisor to determine daily needs.

8. Monitor inventory levels and location of various items.

9. Work closely with quality personnel to ensure proper rework process is utilized.

10. At the beginning and end of shift makes sure to clean area and ensure they have proper supplies and reports supplies as needed to supervisor.

11. Assists in loading and unloading trailers as needed.

12. Performs Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations.

13. Reports accidents in timely manner to eCycle Material Handler Lead.

14. Completes assignments accurately and timely

Requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years’ experience in material assembly or disassembly
  • Experience with the use of a variety of hand tools
  • Must be able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Proven Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner .
