Food and Beverage Manager, DTW - Full-time

Prospect Airport Services, Inc., at Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus, is seeking a qualified Food and Beverage manager to oversee the day to day operations of the food and beverage department of our business partner’s private member clubs at DTW.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years experience, in a management role, in hospitality/ restaurant food and beverage.
• ServSafe certified and have a thorough understanding of federal, state and local food and alcohol handling and preparation regulations.
• Has experience in inventory management and control.
• Ability to mentor, train and develop all associates as it relates to F&B to maximize profitability and service culture
• Ability to assure service efficiencies and timing of food production and delivery.
• Can ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and organization in all F&B areas.
• Can utilize their experience and relationship-building talents to manage all aspects of food, beverage and dining area operations, ensuring superior guest experience and operational efficiency. 
• Ability to leverage their understanding of trends and focus their creativity to develop and manage guest-enticing promotions and presentations, elevating guest experience. 

Other Requirements

• Four-year degree preferred; particularly in a hospitality discipline.
• Ability to be an engaging leader who is highly inclusive, inspiring and able to relate to all levels of talent.

• Self-starter and able to influence the efforts and the directions of a team to drive the results
