Looking for a Part-Time Bellperson at North Block Hotel!

North Block is a modern boutique hotel located in Napa Valley's idyllic town of Yountville, the wine country's most coveted epicurean locale. We are currently interviewing for a part-time Bellperson with open availability.

The Bellperson will be responsible for providing the best level of customer service to our guests.   Duties will include the following:

• Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage.
• Inform guests of all room features, emergency exits and promote hotel outlets.
• Store guest baggage upon request and assist with the loading and unloading of baggage into and out of automobiles.
• Deliver packages, faxes and amenities to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in lobby area, in the check-in/check-out area, and in the storage rooms.
• Assist guests with parking when needed (valid driver’s license a must).
• Create an organized, cooperative, and well run work environment by completing shift checklist and following through on responsibilities.
• Assist with banquet equipment set up 
• Other duties as requested by Management.

Ideal candidates must possess the following traits:

• Knowledge of Hotel operations, its services, and facilities.
• Team player
• Friendly, positive and professionally oriented attitude
• Must work well under pressure
• Must have open availability to work AM, PM, holidays and weekend shifts.
• Strong command of the English language speak
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not necessary

Physical Demands include:

• Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for up to 8 hours a day.  
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, climb and stretch
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Some tasks are performed outdoors.  Temperatures will vary and associate must be able to tolerate varying high and low temperatures.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education required
• Previous customer service experience
