MENTOR Oregon is seeking Float Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) to provide assistance to adults with disabilities who live independently in the community.
Provide assistance with daily activities such as:
- meal preparation and planning
- medication administration
- personal care
- facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals
- on outings in the community
- providing transportation to work or other activities.
- partner with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans
We are currently seeking full-time Float Direct Care staff to work various shifts in 2 or more clients homes in Portland. Float Direct Support Professionals will be trained with multiple clients and will fill in for staff who are on vacation or while we work to fill open vacancies in the program. Individuals in this position need to have flexibility and be available to work various shifts and days depending upon the need.
The pay for this position is $13.00/hour and also includes paid time off, holiday pay, and benefits options including 401K for all full-time employees.
