Ticket and Pass Sales AgentVail Mountain - Full Time, Summer Seasonal 2017

The ticket and pass sales agents facilitate sales for activity passes, lift tickets, guided tours, and season passes.  The ticket pass sales agent delivers outstanding customer service and provides quality information regarding all Vail products and services to ensure a world class experience for our guests.

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicate professionally with internal and external guests both in-person and over the phone.
  • Daily use of point-of-sale computer, data base access and informational systems.
  • Supply administrative and phone support for your office location.
  • Produce and redeem wholesale, travel agent and advance purchased lift tickets and activity passes.
  • Resolve guest product/ticket issues and perform refunds under guidance of management.
  • Responsible for maintaining well-stocked and clean sales area and lobby. 
  • Reconcile cash and receipts at end of shift.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attendance record that reflects the Vail Resorts Standards.
  • Scan all lift access and activity products.
  • Sales of season passes, inventoried products, non-inventoried products, and sales of our private lesson biking, hiking and other tours.
  • Utilize all modules of our point of sale system including: advanced sales, private lessons, and access products.
  • Sale and redemption of Canopy tours, Mountain Tours, and Zip Line Tours.
  • Greet all guests and answer all guests’ questions.
  • Answering phones in our Mountain Call Center as needed
  • Are you interested in internship credits with this role?  Internship opportunities are available.
  • Are you looking to get school credit? This role may count towards a summer internship.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent - required.
  • Fluent in all aspects of English - required.
  • Strong computer skills (Windows XP)  - required.
  • Previous point-of-sale computer experience - preferred.
  • Prefer good organizational skills and strong background in cash handling - preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience - preferred.
  • Accounting background, phone reservations experience and conversational Spanish  - preferred.
  • Ability to commit to entire season, including weekends and holidays - required.​
