The Beaver Creek Golf Club, nestled against the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain, is a long-established golf courses in the Vail Valley. Opened in 1982, the course was designed by noted course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and is known and respected for its long, narrow, challenging fairways and stunning scenery. We are looking for candidates with the desire to deliver the best customer service to our guests and members!
The Golf Starter/Ranger is responsible for starting guest’s and member’s play, regulating the pace of play to ensure all players finish their round of golf within the allotted time, directing the flow of traffic, enforcing Club rules and regulations, instructing players in the code of etiquette, overseeing the golf course grounds and assisting players with any on course problems, including monitoring emergencies. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: driving the course loop in reverse order, making positive and friendly contact with all players, reporting issues to the golf shop and following all rules and regulations in regards to weather policies and pace of play. Other duties as assigned.
Typical Schedule: 3-5 days of the week, Sunday, Monday from 9:00 am-4:00/5:00pm,
Requirements:
- Valid Colorado Driver's license - required
- Minimum 2 years experience working on a Golf Course - required
- Ability to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently - required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs - required
- Must have good communication skills and outstanding customer service skills when interacting with guests - required
- Professional attitude and excellent guest service skills
- Ability to follow supervisor instruction
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions all day
- High School Diploma or equivalent - required
- Flexible schedule required as a variety of shifts need coverage
- End of season commitment - required
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays - required
- Resume and in-person interview - required
