Director of Digital Marketing needed for a Technology company in Irvine. Individual will provide strategic, innovative and brand marketing solutions for this company that specializes in education. This role will partner, lead and influence across multiple internal departments and build relationships with senior leaders across the organization to identify opportunities and build solutions that address the company’s business goals and the competitive landscape. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate on strategic and creative program planning
  • Leading strategy, standards, development and ongoing optimization of global web properties
  • Utilize integrated digital marketing best practices to improve website traffic & meet KPI goals for digital channels, including SEO, paid media (Facebook, Google Adwords, Instagram, etc), email marketing, social and content marketing
  • Lead advertising strategy including digital and print; oversee frameworks for best practice-sharing and execution; identify and apply solutions for customer acquisition, conversion
  • Craft content and tools to support campaign creation that is relevant and targeted to specific audiences
  • Establish and deliver end user marketing campaigns
  • Identify technology solutions to deliver engaging and relevant content to customers
  • Provide direction and feedback to internal programs and teams
  • Ensure all deliverables support and communicate the brand message
  • Evaluate emerging tools & tactics to help drive traffic & conversions
  • Partner with contracted web developers and/or app developers to optimize conversion rates, improve user experience and content for increased lead generation effectiveness of all landing pages and digital properties
  • Oversee new website builds, updates and redesigns
  • Partner with internal teams on search engine marketing, including content strategy, link building, audience targeting, & keyword strategy
  • Partner with internal teams to run conversion-driven paid media campaigns on several platforms (Facebook, Pixel, Instagram, Google) using audience targeting and personalization to support campaign goals and generate marketing-qualified leads at an effective cost per lead
  • Develop, maintain, & extend functionality of digital tools and web assets
  • Partner with internal teams to create effective marketing automation and engagement campaigns to help convert leads to sales
  • Set, review, & report digital goals and core KPIs using appropriate metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, including benchmarks & ROI evaluation
  • Assist in development of digital marketing analytics dashboards to track, analyze & report on digital strategy and initiatives
  • Run A/B & multivariate testing to improve conversion, click, & response rates
  • Develop social media strategies and set goals to promote content and increase engagement on all channels
  • Develop and oversee training programs to strengthen the company's social media ambassadors
  • Manage and evaluate one employee (graphics) and contracted labor as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Marketing experience. Experience running sustained marketing campaigns preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Related field a MUST.
  • Excellent writing skills required.
  • Demonstrated experience in all marketing sciences related to digital including: omnichannel marketing, SEO, search marketing/AdWords, internet advertising (and associated techniques like PPC, IP targeting, retargeting, display and native advertising, etc.) content marketing, social media (cross-platform) marketing and engagement, email marketing, Google analytics, etc.
  • Experience with web analytics tools, CMS systems and Hootsuite® required. Campaign Monitor experience preferred.
  • Ability to assess creative for brand aesthetic, information hierarchy and message continuity.
  • Excels at interpretation of strategic objectives into campaign design.
  • Product management, brand management, and/or B2B experience required. Education experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and advanced organization skills.
  • Self-starter mind-set that works well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • High comfort level with technology and various digital marketing channels. Social Media expertise required.
  • Ability to deliver content and project deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization, including senior management.
  • Familiarity with common digital marketing platforms such as Adwords, Campaign Monitor, Analytics, Facebook, and similar tools.
  • Possess a high level of business acumen, planning and project management skills.
