Job Overview

You will be joining a team of professionals that support water treatment applications in a variety of industries. The role requires you to service, execute, and document technical services in Plymouth Technology accounts. This position reports to the Sr. Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine technical service & support to Consultants in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans. Specifically in area of water treatment.

  • Work closely with current customers, in defined territory, to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain sales within your assigned territory.

  • Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in both your own assigned territory, and in the strategic district accounts where you provide technical service support to other Consultants.

  • Provide technical water treatment support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.

  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

  • Documents and communicates completed services by providing clarity and value to the customer.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Must have water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience; and/or working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment

  • Must have experience in an manufacturing environment with working knowledge of industrial processes

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 
  •  Must be able to pass drug test and background check
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs., climb ladders and stairs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.), or Technical Certification wastewater treatment is a plus. 

  • 2+ years of successful technical service or field sales support experience

  • Must have mechanical aptitude

  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)

  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation

  • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills

  • Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills

  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task

  • Ability to travel in the U.S. for training/meetings
