Job Overview
You will be joining a team of professionals that support water treatment applications in a variety of industries. The role requires you to service, execute, and document technical services in Plymouth Technology accounts. This position reports to the Sr. Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Provide routine technical service & support to Consultants in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans. Specifically in area of water treatment.
Work closely with current customers, in defined territory, to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain sales within your assigned territory.
Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in both your own assigned territory, and in the strategic district accounts where you provide technical service support to other Consultants.
Provide technical water treatment support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
Documents and communicates completed services by providing clarity and value to the customer.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience; and/or working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment
Must have experience in an manufacturing environment with working knowledge of industrial processes
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs., climb ladders and stairs
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.), or Technical Certification wastewater treatment is a plus.
2+ years of successful technical service or field sales support experience
Must have mechanical aptitude
High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
Prior experience that required excellent communication skills
Prior experience that required excellent organizational skills
Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
Ability to travel in the U.S. for training/meetings
