Homewood Suites/H Hotel LAX

The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring overall cleanliness in all guest rooms while providing great customer service. They will be accountable for inspecting guest rooms, making beds as assigned, training Room Attendants, changing linens, cleaning toilets, sinks, and mirrors. They will also utilize cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment to ensure that rooms are serviced and up to brand standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

Updates the in-house management system with the proper status of all room and communicates any changes with room attendant and managers.

Inspect and approve hotel rooms daily once they have been completed by room attendant to ensure they are ready for occupancy.

Address room attendants when rooms have issues to be corrected.

Assist in the training of room attendants.

Keep management updated with the progress of room attendants.

Ensuring room attendants wear proper uniforms and name tags.

Ensuring public areas are cleaned to hotel standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Prior housekeeping experience is helpful. The ability to communicate effectively in Basic English is required
