As the Lead Massage Therapist you will be responsible for the organization, promotion, development, and supervision of the Massage Therapists. The Lead Massage Therapist also holds all Massage Therapists accountable for provide cutting edge, personalized, and safe treatments and services that encourage repeat business. The Lead Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massages and other body treatments to guests of the facility in addition to some administrative duties and staff supervision. Lead Massage therapists also reports directly to the Spa Director and arranges workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes, and check with guest to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout service. Promote and sell spa/salon services. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Handle inappropriate guest behavior by stopping service and informing supervisor/manager. Maintain current licensure for all staff in service area. Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Spa Director; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Spa Director
