Groundsman/Ground Crew - Full-time / Part-time

Atwork Roanoke is currently seeking qualified candidates for  a Groundsman/Ground Crew for a great employer!

Details of the Groundsman/Ground  Crew position:

• Two different locations:
  Route 24 in Vinton
  101 Bunker Hill Loop in Bedford
• Pay  Rate: $10/hr
• 1st shift, 7am-5: 30pm, Monday-Thursday, with possible overtime!

Responsibilities of the Groundsman/Ground Crew position:

• Use chainsaws to cut back brush, logs and stumps
• Hauls brush to be fed into a wood chipper
• Help with removal of stumps
• Works in all types of weather and have the ability to be prepared for different tempuratures
• Climbs trees when necessary
• Use a chainsaw, leaf blower, etc.

Requirements of the Groundsman/Ground Crew position:

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to climb trees when needed; can't be afraid of heights!
• If allergic to bees, must have an Epi-Pen at all times
• Must be able to go into the bucket on the bucket truck, weight limit 300 lbs
• Must have concentration and attention skills to keep themseleves and others safe
• Must wear boots that cover the ankles
