Job Description
Dinkel's Bakery is a family owned bakery located in the Lakeview/Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago, We proudly bake the finest baked goods and pastries while providing excellent customer service.
We are seeking a Bakery Counter Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team! We are looking for fun, creative, self-motivated, honest and energetic individuals to add to our already awesome staff. Full and Part Time positions are available. For Full Time employees, we offer great benefits and wages, paid holidays, health insurance, and 401(K).
Responsibilities:
- Welcome, identify customer needs and serve them with a smile
- Explain various products to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure products/store is well stocked
- Enter and process customer orders
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous bakery counter experience a plus, but willing to train the right person
- MUST be available to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability multi-task and answer phones with confidence
