REORGANIZATION DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT
CONTRACT March-September
Our client is a well-established investment services firm, and is in need of a Reorganization Department Assistany to support branch administrators and brokers in Downtown Dallas for a long-term temporary assignment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of clerical experience, knowledge of basic security industry terminology, is detail-oriented, and customer focused. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a self-motivated and energetic candidate to assist with day-to-day operations of retirement plans and solving account problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process everything associated with corporate actions, including tenders, mergers, and stock and bond maturities
▪ Responsible for balancing, paying funds and posting securities when they are received
• Resolve and follow-up on complex issues.
• Establish monthly distributions and make contributions to accounts.
• Meet daily operational deadlines and perform routine or basic department functions.
• Respond and follow-up on internal and external inquiries to identify, research, and resolve any issues.
• Manage time effectively to meet and exceed deadlines to ensure availability for additional projects.
REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma or equivalent
▪ Prior Margin department Experience.
• At least 1 year of clerical experience.
• Working knowledge of security industry terminology and financial markets is a plus.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; very customer focused.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Available to work a flexible schedule with overtime, as required.
