Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Furniture Retail Showroom Manager to join our team in our Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, FL locations.
Job Summary:
The Store Manager will lead a dynamic sales team to drive outstanding results ensuring a great customer experience. The Store Manager will work as a team leader and will be responsible for driving furniture sales through.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
· Selection, training, leading, development, coaching and management of showroom personnel
· Lead the sales team to achieve monthly sales target
- Showroom Key Holder, responsible for opening and closing the showroom
- Maintain the appearance of showroom and proper merchandising to emphasize the selling points of our products such as design, quality and utility
· Maintain effective internal control over physical product flow and accounting of inventory within the showroom and the storeroom.
· Make daily bank deposits, control petty cash and submit accounting on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate and manage showroom personnel’s monthly schedule and vacation.
- Fully resolve the showroom’s customer service issues and customer relation management (CRM) through communication / coordination with operations, management, showroom staff, clients and other impacted departments adhering to the established company policies.
- Assist customers with product selection and purchase using our selling and POS systems
- Designing furniture layouts for our customers' homes will be required on occasions
- Follow-through with customers' purchase and ensure and excellent delivery service is made by the delivery team
- Provide weekend, holiday and evening coverage when the greatest opportunity to generate sales exists
- Provide Customers with after sales follow-up, Building and maintaining a performing client portfolio
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (Interior Designer is a plus)
- 3-5 years retail management / relevant work experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is required
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledgeable in a drafting program such as Sketch Up, and AutoCAD (not required but highly desired)
