Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Manager in our Salt Lake City, UT location. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As Showroom Manager, you will:

- Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, and high end fixtures

- Develop and maintain marketing plan for the showroom

- Maintain and develop a productive team by hiring, training and providing professional development

- Work with Outside Sales associates to secure and maintain showroom and builder business

- Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information

- Ensure product marketing through merchandising and promotions

- Support credit efforts in Accounts Receivable dispute resolution

- Budget process activities, review and manage expenses

- Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while utilizing suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately

- Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, address and resolve customer complaints

- Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond

Qualifications

Prior Plumbing Retail Sales and Management experience is strongly preferred.

A successful Showroom Manager will possess the following:

- Ability to work across department lines, manage time and people

- Problem solving, leadership and listening skills

- Enable to initiate and embrace change, coaching skills and desire to train others

- Organizational and time management skills

- The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

- Understand the basics of design and interior decorating
