Job Summary:
Seeking an Industrial Electronic Technician to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand, power, and precision measuring tools. The Industrial Electronic Technician diagnoses malfunctioning systems within the plant using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.


Essential Functions:

  • Follow all safety guidelines while maintaining maintenance safety lockout program.
  • Troubleshoot all electrical and electronic plant equipment.
  • Knowledge and ability to repair AC drives, DC drives, PLC’s, DC motors and circuit boards.
  • Timely and responsive completion of work order assignments.
  • Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work late hours and weekends.
  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Must be able to use basic tools and machinery.
  • Ability to schedule and balance priorities; and possess a strong adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong ability to read and measure devices and blueprints.
  • Assisting in the planning, upgrading, installing and startup of internal projects and equipment.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical field, technical diploma or related field, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience with one year experience of electrical troubleshooting and repair OR three years’ experience industrial, electrical, or textile trouble shooting and repair.
