Inventory Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Job Overview:

The V2C Specialist provides support to the merchant and selling teams and acts as a liaison with our vendor contacts, while delivering a best in class customer experience. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Daily monitoring of various customer service queues/work with vendor partners to coordinate resolution of customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Daily monitoring and updating of pending vendor orders; revising of reservation ship dates and purchase order cancel dates within the various Macy’s order management systems.
• Accountable for vendor performance reporting and follow up.
• Responsible for setup and auditing of 3rd party reporting to ensure accuracy of vendor communications.
• Responsible for systems monitoring, and for partnering with D2C management team to report any system issues.
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• BA/BS Degree or 2+ years of Order Management / Inventory Systems experience is preferred.

Communication Skills:

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Promotes collaboration between team and cross-functional partners.

Reasoning Ability:

• Good follow up and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently to achieve and maintain departmental benchmarks.

Other Skills:

• Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A good working knowledge of the Macy’s FEDFIL, FEDBUY, and receiving systems is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Outlook and a basic understanding of inventory systems are also preferred.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
