Maintenance Associates are responsible for the upkeep and aesthetics of our facilities, exceeding guest service expectations in keeping the facility neat and clean. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Observe, instructs and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Works as a team player.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintains a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Follows proper uniform guidelines per Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
  • Displays excellent communication skills.
  • Shows eagerness to learn new skills and trades.
  • Performs general cleanup of all areas of the building- dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping etc.
  • Maintain routine upkeep of all exterior areas, green space and parking lot.
  • Removes garbage daily.
  • Handles emergency clean ups as directed.
  • Proper usage of cleaning chemicals, safety attire and tools.
  • Performs minor building, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary.
  • Completes inspections of all back of house and front of house areas with Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

1 year prior maintenance and technical experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 75lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Will be subject to working at heights up to 40 feet.
  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Maintain safety standards always.
  • Pleasant, upbeat and sociable personality.
  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including lawn mowers, small hand tools, ladders etc.
