An Andretti Event Associate is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

 

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Anticipates and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Observes, instructs and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assists with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Proper uniform according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Set up and break down of event spaces per event contracts and floor diagrams.
  • Host entire event, supervise all activities and ensure guest are pleased with their visit.
  • Ensure proper food and beverage temperature and utensils are used.
  • Attention to detail, Guest focused and the ability to read event contracts.

Requirements

Prior guest service experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Desire to smile throughout shift.
  • Will be subject to working at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed.
  • Maintain safety standards at all times.
  • Pleasant, upbeat and sociable personality.
