Receiving / Replenishment Associate

Huntersville distribution facility looking for someone in their receiving department who will be responsible for incoming product as well as maintaining appropriate stock levels on the distribution center's shelves and bins. Performs work under the direction of the receiving supervisor.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Receive incoming product against appropriate purchase orders
• Complete paperwork as required
• Deliver packages to appropriate personnel
• Organize incoming inventory deliveries
• manual unloading
• Stock shelves with newly packaged items
• consolidate primary and overstock locations
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Evaluate and determine status of product returns for customers
• Occasionally pick customer orders for shipment
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization
• May conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as required
• Perform all other tasks as required when assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work more than 2.5 hours at a time unloading shipping containers in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees
• Ability to work 8 am to 4:45 pm, occasionally work an adjusted 8-hr shift from 5:30 am to 2:15 pm
• Good basic math skills
• Better than average analytical skills
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, 60 lbs. occasionally
• Must be able to stand for extended period of time
• Must be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects
• Finger/wrist dexterity to work effectively on computer keyboard or grabbing/packaging product.
• Must be able to get along well with a variety of different people
• Ability to work a variety of jobs
• Ability to work unsupervised to accomplish tasks given by the receiving department supervisor
