Job Description

Summary:

The Mid- Market Enterprise Telemarketer is responsible for generating new Mid-Market Enterprise appointments. Target Market are companies minimally with 50 employees up 3000 employees at a single location or across multiple sites. They maintain a high level of professionalism as a representative of Vive Communications to the business community during all phases of customer contact.

Job Requirements:

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to the following direct sales activities:
• Set qualified appointments for outside sales representatives using various sourcing techniques.
• Make at least 150 calls a day to Mid-Market Enterprise sized businesses.
• Utilize Social Media to generate leads and then turn those leads into qualified appointments.
• Learn how to overcome objections and build up business contacts over time.
• Research market and vertical needs.
• Heavy daily prospecting & appointment setting.
• Manages Prospect Lists and Databases.
• Respond effectively to all customer requests.
• Provides daily forecasting & reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Participates in all sales and technology training.
• Maintaining Avaya, Shoretel and Mitel Voice and Data Networking Sales Certifications.
• Attends meetings and training sessions as directed.
• Come to work every day in a timely and team first manner.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Must be motivated and not easily discouraged
• Must be a self-starter interested in a career in sales
• Essential to have a personality that is not easily discouraged by rejection
• Must be competitive and driven to work in a team environment
• Experience in athletics or competitive environments preferred
• Any knowledge of Telecommunications is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent experience
• Minimum two (2) plus years of Business To Business experience
     o Superior knowledge of appointment setting strategies, tactics and processes including:
     o Prospecting/Funnel Development
     o Qualifying Prospects
     o Value and Consultative Selling
     o Appointment Closing Strategies
     o Time and Territory Management
     o Managing Sales Goals and Objectives
