TITLE: Vice President and General Manager
ENVIRONMENT: Industrial Manufacturing, Metal Forming Operation producing components for various markets including: Construction, RV, Boat, Utility, Cargo, Trailer, Lawn and Garden, Agricultural and other Specialty Applications
LOCATION: Elkhart, Indiana
REPORTS TO: President/COO
COMPENSATION RANGE: A Very Competitive Base Salary, Plus Bonus
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: 4 Year Degree from an accredited college or university OR a combination of education and experience
CITIZENSHIP: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work for any U.S. Employer

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 10 - 15+ years in metal working and fabrication a must

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a division (profit center) leadership staff position. Operations responsibility is first and foremost within the incumbents’ history, followed by the Commercial/Sales side.
The Vice President and General Manager, will be hands on, and oversee all of the manufacturing processes to ensure that end products are completed to quality and customer specifications, within established time frames, in a cost-effective manner and exceed customer expectations.
Experience in working with key customers on sales development and customer relations is an important aspect of this position. A proven ability to develop and foster a progressive Winning Teaming Environment and focus on continuous improvement is a must.
Areas of direct reports include Supply, Operations Management, Production Control, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Sales, Human Resources, Business Unit Performance and Profitability.
BOTTOM LINE:
· The incumbent must be a seasoned highly results orientated individual. with a strong focus and history in general management roles
· Proven strength within the manufacturing, sales, employee development, assembly and operations
· Lean, P&L, strategic planning areas, while possessing proven leadership abilities
· Excellent listening skills and the desire to motivate, educate and grow staff
· Strong desire to be in touch with and lead a winning team that has the desire to double, triple, quadruple the revenue and production of the company
