Pay Rate: $11/ HR
Schedule: 4pm-12:30am, Monday - Friday, Overtime and Saturday as needed

SUMMARY

Performs duties as assigned within the Surface area of production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties:

• Knock lenses off blocks with de-blocker.
• Wash lenses with Simple Green solvent.
• Inspect lenses.
• Return lenses to proper job tray.
• Operate taping equipment to apply protective tape to the front of the lenses.
• Inform supervisor if lenses need special attention.
• Help in other areas of department when needed and as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able and willing to work as a team
• Able to read and write English Language well
• Basic math skills
• Fast with hands
• Work without supervision
• Must be available to work Overtime and Saturdays when needed

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required stand and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Safety Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid
  conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Basic understanding of the Injury and Illness Prevention Program and the Hazard Communication Program.
• Closed toe shoe with heel support necessary. Must wear safety glasses, gloves and other PPE

High School Diploma or GED Required
