EQUIPMENT SUPERINTENDENT
PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a responsible and ambitious Equipment Superintendent. The Equipment Superintendent is responsible for assisting in the coordination of all Company heavy equipment assets. This position is responsible for establishing standards, driving performance, and helping to manage the Equipment Operations to positively impact all phases of the construction process. The Equipment Superintendent will consistently incorporate and reinforce the company's safety initiatives into departmental operations.

Basic working conditions: The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time. The employee must be able to work successfully in a team. The employee must be able to stand, stoop, or crouch for long periods of time inside and outside.

The Equipment Superintendent is responsible for assisting in the coordination of all Company heavy equipment assets. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the management of assets, including excavation and heavy construction equipment
- Develop processes to accurately schedule and track equipment usage
- Implement and manage vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance programs
- Oversee DOT compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet
- Responsible for the budgeting within the department
- Create and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships
- Prioritize all scheduled and emergency service and repairs
- Management maintenance
- Provide clean, safe working conditions of the facility and equipment
- Provide support to the operations team regarding all equipment related issues
- Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies
- Others duties as assigned
- Leadership and Coordination of heavy equipment assets
- Knowledge and experience of equipment systems
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Quality & production oriented
- Organizational and planning skills
- Competent in safety & industry standards
- CDL (preferred)
- 4 Year degree in related field
- Previous work in the same field and professional references are required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Equipment Superintendent or Manager role
- Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, etc.)
