 Core functions in this role include budgeting, planned and ad-hoc analysis for our Operations teams, month-end support to the Controller, ad-hoc projects, connect our Restaurant Field Operations with the Restaurant Service Center and provide support to our office teams.

Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Reports to: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience: 2-4 years accounting experience required, 3+ years preferred.  
Financial statement preparation and understanding, ability to read and report accounting data, and present to operational teams in a comprehensible manner.  Specific budget experience is a plus
Skills:  Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. Vlookups, Macros), strong organization and multi-tasking abilities, time management.
MUST have accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to meet regular deadlines 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual analysis to operations team
• Analyze pricing of food and beverage product lines
• Perform projections as needed for corporate projects
• Provide analytical support to the corporate office
• Facilitate meetings with other departments regarding various analytic findings
• Responsible for month-end close duties
• Analyze financial statements monthly and report findings
• Assist in completion of the annual budget
• Additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
