Assistant Manager/ Management Trainee - Full-time

We are seeking candidates for our Assistant Manager Trainee Positions within our Full-Service Car Wash locations. Car Pool, located in Richmond, VA, is a locally owned and operated car wash that has been servicing the drivers of Richmond for over 30 years. We operate multiple car wash locations throughout the Richmond area. What you will do:

• Demonstrate an understanding of management principles to achieve both sales goals and the goal of customer and employee satisfaction
• Participate in the fast-growing business segment of professional car washing with a great, long-standing brand
• Learn the day-to-day activities of the store team in order to be effective in training and leading team members
• Manage daily operations while leading your team and creating a positive and fun work experience
• Train employees how to deliverthe exceptional product that customers expect when visiting Car Pool locations

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the retail environment, with 2-3 years retail or comparable work experience
• Effective oral communication skills, basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Team-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong customer service skills that demonstrate the ability to act with a "customer first" attitude and deliver customer service that meets or exceeds expectations
• Strong problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to use discretion in providing direction to others
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work outside in all weather conditions

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening as well as possess a valid driver’s license .
