Scout Boats is rapidly growing and looking for a new full time recruiter to bring on board. We are looking to fill this position quickly! Familiarity with the manufacturing work force and the skill levels needed, along with experience recruiting for manufacturing is REQUIRED!
Performs all aspects of recruitment. Assures recruitment, hiring and staffing processes are consistent with regulatory requirements and current HR practices.
Develops extensive networks to source talent and receive referrals proactively. Attends networking events, job fairs and is active in the business community to proactively source talent.
Partners with Plant Managers to plan staffing needs and requests
Creates job postings through PeopleMatter. Makes us of various recruitment sources based on the nature of the posting.
Creates a standard approach to phone screening and in-person interviewing through the use of scorecards and other tools to assure fair and consistent processes for hiring are followed.
Conducts thorough background checks and on site drug screens.
Facilitates decision-making with Plant Managers and HR post-screening. Performs all aspects of closing the search including extending job offers, negotiating and solidifying the final offer and start date.
Facilitates New Hire orientation and continually improves the presentation and delivery of the new hire folder and materials.
Tracks success metrics such as time to fill open positions, cost per hire and other relevant data points.
Prepares the weekly Open Positions report and tracks staffing changes
Establishes relationships with high schools, trade schools and colleges for candidate sourcing, internship opportunities and on programs to develop the future workforce interested in a career in manufacturing to address the long-term labor shortage.

Bachelors degree in a related field required
2-3 years experience recruiting
Experience sourcing and interviewing candidates
Excellent communication skills and follow thru.
Exceptional interviewing skills; Proven ability to engage candidates through active listening and screening techniques
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment with diplomacy, accuracy and a service-orientation
Strong work ethic; Approachable and responsive - able to develop string working relationships with employees and leaders

Additional Information
Salary: $40,000-$50,000 per year, depending on experience.
