Driver CDL - A - Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities will include dropping off and picking up equipment for customers, operating equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") consistent with DOT classification CDL-A, perform vehicle safety inspections and properly secure and maintain loads with strap and tie down devices in safe a condition and replace those that are damaged or show wear. The CDL A driver will be responsible for maintaining a driver log and suggesting additional equipment and supplies a customer may need. Superior customer service remains the backbone of United Rentals, therefore your willingness and ability to provide this to each customer makes you a top-notch candidate. To be qualified for this position, the ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience, basic knowledge of pump equipment and safe driving procedures, maintain a clean driver's record, and should possess a diligent attention to safety. A valid Class A CDL driver's license is required and this role will involve frequent lifting of items up to 45lb.
