Full Time Mechanic/Alarm System Installer

Frontline Private Security is seeking a trained vehicle mechanic and/or alarm system installer in the Omaha. Starting pay ranges from $12.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The fleet maintenance technician will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining a 25+ vehicle fleet of Ford Taurus, Crown Victoria, Explorer Interceptors, Dodge Chargers, Ford F-350s and Transit Connect vans. Position requires ability to function with little direct oversight and achieve goals by deadlines. Flexibility is a must as the job can vary day to day. Experience with golf carts, Segways or heavy trucks a plus. Uniforms and tools provided. Fully equipped, heated shop with vehicle lift.

The position is full time, hourly. Schedule is Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

MUST HAVE/BE:

- 21 years or older
- At least one verifiable employer
- No criminal convictions 
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

- Fast learner and familiarity with electronics/computers/mobile devices

- Experience with internal mechanical, electrical and light body work on multitude of civilian/police vehicles
