Retail Merchandiser

Enjoy Working With Your Hands? Like putting things together?  Then we need you and have a position for you on our team as a Store Retail Merchandiser.

You will work on a team with a team leader and team members performing reset work.  A majority of the resets are working in store cosmetic sections, but work can vary by retail store location. Example, grocery, convenience store, etc.

Never merchandised before? No problem! We are willing to train the right individuals.

Types of Merchandising Projects Match Offers

Blitz Assignments

Blitz assignments are where you normally work by yourself on projects that are normally on a few hours in each store at a time. Blitz work also allows you to build your own schedule and is typically a great way for those looking to supplement their income and who want to work a few hours a week. You will have an Area Manager who will work with you to build your schedule.

Cosmetic Resets

Cosmetic Resets are projects where you work with a team of individuals and a team leader and reset store department sections using a plan-o-gram (a.k.a. schematic layout, blue print, etc.) Your team leader will work with you to show you how to use the plan-o-gram to place items such as shelving, fixtures, graphics, tags, and more. If you like puzzles and figuring out where things go and fit, then you will love working on our cosmetic reset teams.

Cosmetic reset assignments are typically high volume Jan-March where hours are M-F working full days to the job is complete.  At other times, hours fluctuate. Assignments are considered project based. Being on a reset team requires individuals to start work early in the morning normally between 6 and 8 a.m. and staying till the job is done.  Once one store has been completed, the reset team will move to the next store in their territory and so on and so on.

Training

Training comes in many forms but is normally on the job training where you will train with other merchandising team members or the team leader.  At times, training will also be conducted via webinar or with the infield trainer.

Experience & Requirements

• Prior merchandiser experience is a plus, but not required as we will train the right people with the right attitudes
