The Retirement Specialist will be responsible for the administration of Foot Locker's retirement and savings benefits -- pension, 401(k), stock purchase plan and executive plans. This individual will ensure compliance with relevant benefit regulations.

* Work closely with Director of Retirement Plans to execute and oversee administration, reporting, communications, filings, compliance and data integrity of the retirement and savings plans

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple benefits vendors

* Work with HRIS to ensure accurate and compliant administration of benefits

* Monitor legislation to ensure retirement plans are compliant with all regulatory requirements

* Partner with the Director of Retirement Plans to analyze plan utilization and effectiveness as it relates to plan design, administration, communication and vendor services

* Recommend and implement changes to improve service delivery, efficiency of operations, and administrative controls

* Provide support with projects within and outside the scope of Total Rewards as needed

* Provide customer service for elevated associate inquiries

* Two to five years retirement plan administration experience

* Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or similar field

* Excellent communication skills, including presentation and written, strong customer service, and ability to effectively communicate with external vendors and all levels of employees

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

* Self-motivated and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

* Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task, as well as work in an organized and efficient manner

* Intermediate-level skill with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)

* Prior experience with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft preferred)

* Technical knowledge and understanding of plans and regulations, including ERISA and other requirements from the IRS and DOL, as well as other federal legislation
