Team Leader - Central Maintenance (3rd shift)
Location: Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Provide skilled trade services to operations’ maintenance departments, engineering, and operations management. Assign and direct the daily activities of a sub group of trade people to complete a weekly schedule and daily reactive work. Maintain on time and on cost delivery through prioritization of reactive work, utilization of available resource and use of partner contractors.
Direct the activities and development of a sub-group of mechanical trade people. Educate, develop, improve, and uphold all technical, safety, process, policy and regulatory standards as established by Union Contract, Corporate Policy, divisional policy, Central Shops policy, Government regulation, and trade industry standards.
Provide leadership and teamwork support to all Central Shops management personnel, KOS initiatives, and corporate and divisional management. Provide leadership and/or support for the Central Maintenance group project management initiatives.
Skills/Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- An associate degree is preferred.
- Enrollment and completion of a two-year supervisory degree is a minimum requirement for continuing employment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written communications.
- Prior supervisory experience in maintenance or related technical field is required.
