Job Description
Performs all work involving the preparation of linen items for further processing and performs the work of properly finishing linen items.
- Accumulates and prepares linens into several classifications for further processing
- Rejects linens that may be torn, damaged, soiled, stained, or not Hospital property.
- Operates all laundry machinery and equipment: feeder/spreaders, flat work ironers,folding machines and rolling stock.
High School Diploma/ GED preferred, Able to work weekend, Able to understand and follow verbal and written communications, Able to stand for long periods of time and push/pull heavy linen carts.
