POSITION OBJECTIVE

Directly accountable for providing service to retail stores by coordinating the processing of merchandise from the vendor, through the Distribution Network. Manages the day to day execution of overall business strategies and productivity measures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Merchandise Processing
  • Manages workflow of several departments in conjunction with individual department Supervisors to meet planned units per hour, cost per unit, level of service and accuracy standards.
  • Effectively manages staffing to meet UPH and CPU goals.
  • Develops and maintains accuracy standards to ensure unit inventory integrity.
Policies and Procedures
  • Coordinates and communicates changes and updates in process and procedures.
  • Works with other departments and divisions to resolve problems and ensure efficient service.
Management of associates
  • Manages direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals in accordance with Company policies and practices.
  • Prepares and analyze unit plans and reports.
  • Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the operating area.
  • Creates an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications.
  • Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans.
QUALIFICATIONS required

  • Multiple years of related experience including direct supervision experience in Distribution, Production/Operations Management, Warehouse Management or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Radio Frequency and automated distribution/warehouse management systems, Windows, Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility in hours to support multi-shift operation.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree

ADDENDUMS Operations Manager 1 - EFC
  • 3-5 Years related EFC experience
  • Supervises and oversees floor supervisors
  • Responsible for the prompt, efficient and accurate processing of merchandise, customer order selection and delivery through the e-Fulfillment Center, in support of 100% customer satification.
