About this job
Our client, an accounting firm in South Elgin, is looking for a Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a part-time, long term position in a friendly office.
Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
- Bank and credit card statements / reconciliations
- Payroll using QuickBooks
- Sales tax returns
- New client reports
Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required, Associates degree preferred
- 2+ years' bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks
- High attention to details
- Great interpersonal skills
Compensation: $18 - $20/hr, based on skills and experience
Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule, 15-30 hour per week
