Lifeguard – PT Summer Temporary Help – Northstar California

The Lifeguard is responsible for overseeing special event locations as assigned and reporting any medical calls to ski patrol dispatch. This positions is for part time lifeguard staff to assist with our on-mountain events such as Tough Mudder Tahoe. 

Tough Mudder is June 9-10th at Northstar. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• First to handle difficult employee situations as this position is part of the ski patrol chain of command
• Supervising and promoting guest safety
• Assisting injured guests on the mountain and administering first aid
• Transporting and setting up mountain safety equipment
• Transporting supplies and medical equipment to areas as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must possess a current lifeguard or swift water rescue certification
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must work well in a team
• Must be able to lead small teams
• Must successfully pass back ground check
• Must be available to work June 9th and 10th
• Must have the ability to lead a team during emergency situations
