Industrial Electrical Apprentice
Description:
Starting pay is between $15 - $17/hr DOE
Description:
- Receiving of in-coming vendor shipments and customer returns
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects
- Note discrepancies or damages
- Unload and unpack incoming materials
- Run Conduit (Rigid)
- Pull wires and cables
- Layout and build control panels from prints. (understanding of measurements)
- Wire equipment and panels from schematics. (understanding of electrical symbols)
- Troubleshoot and use electrical and other calibration meters
- Lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Other duties as needed
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials. (Supply your on hand tools)
- Minimum 1+ years verifiable experience in the electrical trade
- Must be Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision after training
- Must have high level of mental and physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, but be sufficiently detail-oriented so as not to compromise efficiency and accuracy. Ability to handle pressure, and multi-tasking a must
- Must have the ability to read and interpret simple instructions such as shipping instructions, operating procedures, safety rules
- Must be able to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment.
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and not be afraid to jump in and do whatever needs to be done to get the job accomplished in order to satisfy our customers
- Knowledge of PC computer and the operation of Windows based software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Programming experience is a plus
Starting pay is between $15 - $17/hr DOE
