Contractor - HRIS Analyst

Successfully support Human Resources/Payroll business processes utilizing Oracle Cloud/Fusion technology by applying comprehensive knowledge of human resources/payroll principles, concepts and best practices in designing, developing, configuring and maintaining human resources applications across the enterprise. Functionally support the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) as well as any other HR applications related to the employee life cycle. The purpose of this job is to provide application support for Kronos, Oracle Fusion and Taleo. Activities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting user requests or issues, resolving system and data problems, performing routine system maintenance, maintaining error logs and resolving data and interface errors, testing of system changes, loading of data, and reporting with special focus on system configuration.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for gathering and analyzing business requirement specifications, measurements, data mappings, policies, business procedures, etc. as well as transforming them into creative solutions within the system.
  • Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports and/or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools and software.
  • Assists with defining technical standards and standard operating procedures for application configuration to ensure clear communication of system setup needs for other HRIS Analysts on the team.
  • Conducts root cause analysis and develops resolutions; generates recommendations to avoid and/or minimize production problems and issues.
  • Provides functional, technical and process expertise to the Human Resource and Financial Teams.
  • Analyzes system capabilities, data integrity and business processes as part of daily activities and makes recommendations for improvements in order to support a highly functioning HR system.
  • Liaises between internal HR customers and our third party vendor contacts.
  • Creates detailed user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
  • Responsible for system administration tasks which include testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and audits of the Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Assists with the implementation of new functionality, configuration enhancements, upgrades and scheduled system releases/updates of the software.
  • Responsible for the data integrity of the system tables in all the respective HR/Payroll systems.
  • Manages data integrity and develops data integrity protocols between HR, Payroll, and third party administrators.
  • Ensures data quality, consistency and standards and that data follows regulatory and compliance legislation.
  • Ability to work exercising a high degree of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to proactively work with the business to determine fulfillment options and ensure alignment, understanding and confidence.
  • Advanced knowledge of the systems development process and have a solid understanding of HR/Payroll business processes.
  • Aptitude for logical and analytical thinking, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience working with large-scale HRMS applications; (Oracle Cloud/Fusion experience preferred).
  • High proficiency level with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • At least 2 years' experience in Human Resources/Payroll with hands-on HRIS experience; ability to develop requirements and perform system
