Summary of Responsibilities:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* Provide information and guidance to prospective groups regarding Spa and Fitness facilities, programs, membership and pricing
* Meet with group meeting planners to tour the Spa facility and explain programs available
* Promote and sell customised spa programs to conference groups
* Work efficiently with Public Relations department in all aspects of spa promotions and media
* Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team
* Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions and sales techniques
* Implement a 12-month new business and market identification strategy
* Assist in the recruitment, development and training of all support staff
* Follow departmental policies and procedures
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Previous leadership experience within the Spa field required
* University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
* Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
* Experience in the Hotel industry an asset
* Certification in one of the spa disciplines, fitness or therapy preferred
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
