We are ICS, Independent Contractor Services, an independently owned and operated company dedicated to servicing live good products for a major home improvement garden center retailer in over one hundred and sixty stores from Maine to New York.

In partnership with over 30 nurseries, we act as their eyes and ears while merchandising their tropical, perennial, and landscape products to maximum appeal to provide the consumer with the best and most informed shopping experience.

Our drivers:

• Deliver products to stores on assigned route
• Pick up company property & returns
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Unloading and loading plants

This position requires:

• For Truck Drivers: DOT Card and Clean MVR required; Commercial Driver’s License a plus!
• Experience delivering within a local market area, including driving on local streets and navigating busy parking lots
• Demonstrated understanding of how to check a load for accuracy and stability
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 50+ pounds / 22kg
• 1-3 years of general work experience
• 1 or more years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Requires early morning start availability any day of the week. Weekend availability is required during peak seasons.
• Reliable transportation is a must!
• Background & Drug testing required
• The ability to use a smartphone to take and send pictures via email is a plus!

Experience required:

The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience.

Drivers must have a positive, professional, and friendly attitude and the ability to work with suppliers, garden center employees, and delivery personnel.
