Summary

The Kronos Applications Manager is responsible for all functions necessary to support the KRONOS Time and Attendance system including identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes to support the KRONOS application -- including ongoing production maintenance and troubleshooting, supporting the planning, design, development and configuration of the supported application. This position should identify opportunities for process improvements, develop and implement improvements, document and train existing users on all KRONOS-related procedures. This is a management position and typically reports to the Sr Dir Application Development.

Essential Functions:
  • Manages, designs, develops and implements business solution for KRONOS. Conducts workshops with application owners to gather details, design a process that best fits the system and liaises with Vendor and Partner resources as necessary
  • Configures and maintains Kronos system to meet business requirements and company policies
  • Serves as the technical leader during the development and implementation of business solution
  • Troubleshoots and tracks issues in the application. Responds to all functional and technical questions, analyzes user problems, determines and recommends optimum resolution based on system capabilities and user's needs.
  • Manages the implementation of application upgrades
  • Provides training and communicates updates to new and existing users of KRONOS.
  • Maintains roles, access security and common set up for all users of the system such as comments, worker types and event manager.
  • Maintains location attendance policies including attendance events, actions and documents.
  • Maintains and updates: New labor level entries, employee groups and labor level sets, building blocks necessary for schedules including shifts, patterns and groups.
  • Monitors the Transaction Assistant daily and resolves any issues and monitors performance metrics, technical hours provided by vendor.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and technical abilities
  • Requires 9+ years of experience implementing/configure with KRONOS Workforce solutions software and Analytics
  • Requires 2+ years of experience with Payroll and HRIS systems
  • Requires experience with implementation, maintenance, and end-user training/support of KRONOS Workforce Central/Ready, Timekeeper, Absence Management, Advanced Scheduler & Labor Analytics modules. Requires ability to work with Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) to create interface and data flows
  • Solid understanding of Payroll and Staffing concepts with Labor Unions is preferred.
  • Requires ability to configure/implement workforce interfaces and configuration.
  • Requires ability to conduct routine and complex system analysis for customer support.
  • Requires ability to understand and communicate with others in a clear and professional manner, on the phone and in person.
  • Requires ability to train a large audience.
  • Requires ability to lead an implementation team
  • Requires strong analytical and organizational skills.
